All About Kids Expo

Heres a little look at my display on the Parent's Centre stand at the All About Kids Expo this weekend. I'm so proud to be involved with the Parent's Centre, photographing for Kiwiparent magazine. Some of my film favs from yesterday, shot on Porta VC 400, these digital versions are scanned from prints so unfortunately are not looking their best.  Pretty cute though aren't they =)

A day at the ducks

I'm not allowed kids yet (my husband says so), so it's pretty lucky that I can hijack these two sometimes. This morning we went to Avalon Park to feed the ducks and to be a train (choo-choo!). Such a cool spot for photos, especially on a gorgeous sunny day.
I took along a newly inherited film camera and popped off a roll of Porta VC - I am very much looking forward to seeing the result tomorrow (ah the thrill of film! its like christmas eve!). Stay tuned!

 I am excited to announce a super special on newborn portrait sessions for the next few months! Between today (July 20) and September 25th newborn portraits are only $60. Babies must be under 2 weeks of age, so if your due date is sneaking up, book today.

Sessions are limited and bookings should be placed in advance (ideally before your baby arrives).

The lucky, and BEAUTIFUL, Humphrey family won my facebook competition way back in March. It was a pleasure to meet them at last on Wednesday. Despite rather temperamental weather, we went down to the river. I love photo sessions during which the kids get really involved in what they're doing and forget I'm there. I'm really pleased with these shots - what do you think?
