 I was in desperate need of a teeny weeny noggin to test out some more of Hilary's Hats, and Isabella's mum just happened to enter my free session competition on www.totshots.co.nz  at exactly the right moment. Couldn't have found a cuter model!

Elaine's dance class

The shot on the left makes my toes tingle - LOVE IT.

 Elaine runs a dance school in Hataitai, I had the chance to photograph the kids in action on Monday, and wow what fun! I remember being dragged kicking and screaming to ballet as a wee one, and spending the whole time worrying about my toes that wouldn't point.
  Elaine's classes are different, it is obvious from watching that all the kids were having a whale of a time, and learning to love dancing as well as move their bodies. The 'classes' section on the website says it best:

"Classes are interactive and encourage children to play and put forward their ideas. We celebrate each individual’s natural way of moving and offer ideas and encouragement to help them find their own rhythm and movement style  " 

Annabelle turns 4

I had the immense pleasure or joining Annabelle for her dinosaur birthday party at Storyplace last weekend. Birthday parties are such a fun event full of great expressions, gorgeous kids, pride and love. The perfect recipe for photography.

FIliokus in the Studio

Our first Filiokus shoot took place in the studio. This time Annabelle and Zoe were joined by Luken, Brooke and Adam.
Might I add, it is my greatest hope that my future children will spend a merry portion of their youth dressed as cheese. =)

This morning Annabelle, Zoe, Morgan and Jack came down to the beach to try out some gorgeous costumes from Filiokus. This was the second Filiokus shoot for some of us, the studio shots we took last week will be appearing soon =watch this space!=

Keira

This was my second time meeting darling little Keira. You can see some photos of her at 3 months here. At 7 months Keira is even cuter, even bigger (particularly her eyes!) and even more adorable. Looking forward to seeing her again in another few months. I feel so lucky to be able to see these kids grow, and what an amazing record to have of her growth!
